How to turn milk into a sweet and chewy snack in 3 minutes

To turn milk into a sweet and chewy snack in just 3 minutes

you can make a simple milk-based dessert called "Milk Fudge" or "Milk Pedha." Here's a quick and easy recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)
  • A pinch of cardamom powder (optional, for flavor)
  • Chopped nuts like almonds or pistachios (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl or a non-stick pan, add the ghee and the sweetened condensed milk.

  2. Mix the milk powder into the condensed milk and ghee mixture until it forms a smooth paste without any lumps. If using cardamom powder, add it now and mix well for extra flavor.

  3. Microwave the mixture for about 1 minute on high power. If you're using a non-stick pan on the stovetop, heat it over low to medium heat.

  4. Stir the mixture well and continue microwaving or cooking on the stovetop for another 1-2 minutes or until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the bowl/pan. Be careful not to overcook it, as it can become too hard.

  5. Once the mixture is ready, take it out of the microwave or remove it from the heat source. Allow it to cool slightly for a minute or so.

  1. While the mixture is still warm, shape it into small bite-sized balls or any desired shape. You can grease your hands with a little ghee to prevent sticking while shaping.

  2. Optionally, garnish each milk fudge ball with chopped nuts, like almonds or pistachios, pressing them gently into the fudge.

  3. Let the milk fudge cool down completely before serving. Once cooled, it will become firmer and chewy.

The milk fudge is now ready to enjoy as a sweet and chewy snack! It's a quick treat that satisfies your sweet cravings. Keep any leftover fudge in an airtight container for later consumption.
